A name, phone number, or address entered into a search form is sent to the third-party provider that supplies the results. Vestal Residents Directory servers do not retain a copy of those searches. If you contact us, we receive the information in your message and use it to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Our hosting service creates ordinary server logs, which can include an IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps. We review aggregate information to operate the site and understand which reference pages are used. Cookies or similar tools may also support basic analytics and, where applicable, advertising measurement.
How We Use Data
We use the limited data described here to run the site, diagnose problems, measure traffic, and improve its pages. Vestal Residents Directory does not sell visitor lists or create individual visitor profiles.
Other Sites and Search Providers
Links lead to county and state records portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search tools. Their own privacy policies govern information submitted after you leave this site. That includes sponsored search results, which are delivered by a third-party company.
Service Providers and Disclosure
Hosting and support providers process server-log information for us. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We disclose data when required by valid legal process and do not otherwise share it.
Safeguards and Retention
The site uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only for the purposes described in this policy. No account, password, or visitor profile is created here, so there is no such account information on the site to expose.
Visitors Under 18
This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
